Why this game exists
We just wanted to play Mahjong on a Tuesday night without three other people and a table.
We didn’t want to play on ugly websites.
We didn’t want ads interrupting us, or pop-ups pushing us to buy “credits”.
We didn’t want to gamble.
We just wanted a beautiful online game that made playing whenever, wherever as easy as clicking one button.
And we wanted to know what ruleset and scoring that game was meant to be following.
Turned out that was hard to come by.
So we built it.
What we wouldn’t compromise on
The rules are clear
Even within Taiwanese 16-tile Mahjong, every country and group of players uses slight variations. We wanted this game’s rules and scoring to be super clear for you. During, after or before a game, you can always read, search and filter our full ruleset and scoring here.
We don’t decide — you do
We don’t suggest moves. Working out your next move is the game. We tell you if something’s not allowed, and then get out of your way.
Every hand and score explained, for everyone
When a hand ends, all four players see the same itemized scoring: what each move paid, who paid it, the hand score, and the cumulative running total across hands.
Points, not money
Points accumulate until you decide to stop. There is no pot, no stake, no balance to top up, and nothing to buy.
The game is challenging, but fun
Your opponents chase the smarter hand, not the quickest one. They read discards to see what’s still in play. They adjust strategy as things change.
